Carolyn Fisher is the digital media and grants manager for the Stone Center. From 2018 to 2021, she worked as a research assistant with the GC Wealth Project. Previously she worked as a legal assistant at HBO and DC Comics. She holds an M.A. in Political Science from the Graduate Center and a B.A. from the College of William and Mary.
Mei-Ling Israel is the director of finance for the Stone Center. She holds an M.A./Ph.D. from Bard Graduate Center and a B.A. from Stanford. She has been working in finance and accounting for nonprofits and small businesses for over 25 years.
Jennifer Kitses is the director of communications for the Stone Center. She joined the Center in 2018. Previously she worked as a managing editor for Columbia Business School and as a reporter for Bloomberg News. She has an M.S. from Columbia’s Graduate School of Journalism; an MLitt from the University of St. Andrews, Scotland; and a B.A. from the University of Virginia.
Saraya McPherson is the postdoctoral program manager for the Stone Center. She joined the Stone Center in 2021 after working for Brown University’s Center for Middle East Studies (CMES) and Center for the Study and Race and Ethnicity in America (CSREA). She has an M.A. from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London, and a B.A. from Cornell University.
Veronica Ordaz is the associate director of operations for the Stone Center. She joined the Stone Center in 2018. Previously she oversaw public programing for the School of Labor and Urban Studies, CUNY. She has a B.A. in American Studies from Brooklyn College, CUNY.
